We are a great fit for anyone who wants to break into private practice for the first time, or is returning and doesn't want to have to do any of the work except for seeing clients and completing documentation!
We are all diversity-minded and have a breadth of knowledge among us; our specialty areas vary. Our team is strongly committed to clients' well-being, competent and ethical practices, professionalism, clients' rights to self-determination, and warm and welcoming engagement with all.
The team is looking to add experienced MSWs who are competent and knowledgeable: culturally, spiritually, neuro-diversity, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and trauma-informed. We would especially like to add therapists with experience and a desire to work with men, adolescents, couples, families, and small groups, as well as therapists who can work with challenges such as OCD, Bipolar I & II, SUD, and others not already covered by our team.
To be considered as a candidate, all LLMSWs and LMSWs must:
1) Be licensed in the State of Michigan, in good standing, no pending investigations/suits, with a Clinical emphasis on your license (vs Macro)
2) Have 3 excellent references
3) Be trained & experienced in one or more of these EBPs: CBT, DBT, MI, EMDR, CPT, or others like IFS, SFBT, and MBCT
4) Be committed to ethical practice, and use supervision/consultation wisely
5) Be a team player, communicative, and kind
6) Keep up with professional development, have a spirit of wanting to learn, and demonstrate commitment to your own growth
7) Have 1+ year experience in clinical services provision (strongly preferred)
8) Have excellent communication skills, warm presence, and a heart for social work
Positions are part-time W2 employees
