In this 10-week course, adolescents ages 13-17 years-old, can come to a place where it is okay to be exactly who you are and show up exactly how you are feeling. While the main focus is cultivating self-love, we will discuss themes of self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, grief, interpersonal relationships, effective communication, boundary setting, and coping with life’s challenges and embracing life’s joys!
Each session combines psychoeducation, creative activities, open-processing, and evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, and mindfulness strategies. Group members will explore how their current experience impacts them, what they are needing support with, and how to ask for help or seek healing/help from within!
This group will be held on Mondays (open to new members) and meet weekly on Mondays 6:30-8pm. There will be a maximum of 8 members meeting once a week for 10 sessions. This group supports diversity, LGBTQIA+, and the intersectionality of all people!
